Is bamboo waterproof? Will water damage bamboo furniture? Bamboo furniture is coated with NC varnish, which will not be damaged by water in a short time, but it is not recommended to be placed in a damp or watery place for a long time due to the potential for mold in high humidity environments.

Does NC varnish have any effect on people? NC varnish is a safe furniture coating, especially after drying, and is widely used for solid wood furniture. Our products take more than two months from production to delivery to our customers, ensuring that most solvents used in production have evaporated, making it safe for people and pets.

Can natural bamboo furniture be painted? If the entire product is made of bamboo, it can be painted. However, some products have parts that are MDF and cannot be painted. Please see our product description for details.

How far is the bottom crosspiece from the floor, and how far is the bottom shelf from the floor? The bottom crosspiece has two options: 5.12" or 7.48". The bottom shelf is about 35.83” from the floor.

How do I slide the shelf unit onto the toilet if there is a back piece and the toilet is close against the wall? Assemble all parts except the bottom crosspiece. After assembling the shelf unit, place the shelf unit over the toilet and add the bottom crosspiece to secure and stabilize the shelf unit.
